Green tea, invented in China, is made from Camellia sinensis leaves that has not gone through the complete oxidation process. The demand of green tea has increased significantly around the world through the past decades. Green tea’s popularity has led to researchers taking a closer look at the popular and tasty tea that people consume daily for pure pleasure and great health benefits.
Researcher quickly discovered that the tea is one of the healthiest drinks around today. In fact, the tea is packed with plenty of nutrients that combat disease and improve overall health. One of the most popular reasons why people enjoy green tea is its ability to reduce appetite and promote weight loss. Studies show that people that exchanged their sugary drinks for green teas dropped close to 15 pounds in a year.
